Embossing and de-bossing technologies enable can makers to produce innovative can designs.

Embossing is a technology which produces decorations or reliefs with a raised profile (from inside out) while de-bossing produces decorations with a depressed profile (outside-in).

The advantage of de-bossing is that existing external dimensions are maintained and therefore there is no need to change transportation and pallet space.

The formed metal is registered with printed graphics for maximum visual and tactile impact. Images and graphics, logos, tactile warning and brand identification features can all be enhanced.
